Cooperation with Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (UPV)

In August 2006, OSU participated in the English Language and Network Courses arranged by Vitus Bering University College in Horsens, Denmark. It was then that OSU and UPV faculty members met for the first time and agreed to develop a strong collaboration between the two universities in the future. Leaders of both institutions encouraged the initiative and in January of 2007 a delegation from UPV visited the city of Orenburg and OSU.

Mr. Rafael Capuz Lladro, School Building Management Director, and Ms. Isabel Tort Ausina, Deputy Director, visited OSU from January 24–27, 2007. The most significant development of the visit was signing an agreement of collaboration between Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and Orenburg State University. The agreement promotes the exchange of cultural and academic experiences, as well as, staff exchanges in terms of teaching and research in which both institutions are manifestly involved in.

In August 2009, UPV representatives attended the regular English language and Networking Courses held at OSU.

Cooperation with the University of Granada

Orenburg State University (OSU) and the University of Granada (UGR) came into contact in 2007 while participating in a TEMPUS program focused on the development of students’ academic mobility. The next step was an ERASMUS MUNDUS program. And finally, on October 18, 2011 both universities signed an official agreement of cooperation. It happened during the visit of OSU rector Dr. Vladimir Kovalevskiy to the UGR.

Teaching Spanish

In 2012/13 thanks to the agreement between the University of Granada and OSU Alberto Sanchez Leon taught Spanish OSU Philology students as well as all interested on Spanish language courses.

In 2013–2015 Marioa Salazar from Costa Rica taught Spanish at OSU.
