More than 600 volunteers took part in the third season of archaeological and geographical expedition "Kyzyl-Kuragino-2013" this year. Among them was a graduate of Geography and Regional Studies Department Raisa Fatkullina and a third-year Geography student Guzel Nadergulova. They won a prize from the Russian Geographical Society.

The project of archeological-geographical expedition established in 2011. Its purpose is to study completely archeological monuments situated in railroad "Kyzyl-Kuragino" construction zone, to conduct archaeological excavation of objects located on the territory of projected route. The research work is carried out in Republic of Tuva and Krasnoyarsk region.

Raisa and Guzel were awarded with the letters of gratitude from Tuva Minister of Youth and Sports for their active assistance in organization of the third shift, and from the Russian Geographical Society — a badge with a Scythian Panther. Only distinguished volunteers received such badges for work on barrow.
