Agreement is Signed

On the 23^rd of January guests from Finland visited Orenburg State University. Rector Juha Kettunen, Manager of Power Engineering Program and Environment Control Tero Reunanen and Coordinator of Cooperation Projects between University and Enterprises Riitta Windahl formed the delegation of Turku University of Applied Sciences.

The guests met with faculties deans and leading scientists of Orenburg State University. The Finnish colleagues prepared presentation about their University. Then Aida Kiryakova — Head of OSU Department of Theory and Methodology of Education — suggested to hold joint Russian-Finnish seminar on innovative pedagogics.

Within the framework of visit the delegation from Finland met with OSU Rector Vladimir Kovalevskiy. According to Vladimir Petrovich Kovalevskiy our University and Turku University have much in common and it is possible to cooperate on different programs. As the result of the meeting Universities’ Rectors have signed cooperation agreement. In compliance with this document student and lecturer exchanges as well as joint projects development will be realized. By the way one of them — "Cooperation between Northlands and Russia in the field of energy and environment control" — is already developed.
