OSU scientists and students took part in the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum "Orenburg Region 2014".
More than 1š500šparticipants were thereš— experts, scientists, businessmen, statesmen, municipality workers of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Tajikistan.
Orenburg State Universityš— the large multi-field Russian HEI, center of science, education and culture of the region was represented on the consolidated stand of Orenburg Region. Sergey Letutaš— OSU Vice-rector for Research headed delegation of the University.
OSU scientists discussed questions about qualified specialists’ formation for Russian economy, development of regional scientific potential on the roundtable conference "Integration of Eurasian Academic Space". The head of OSU Research Department of South Ural’s History and Ethnographyš— Venaliy Amelin (told about history of relationship between Russia and Kazakhstan), director of Inter-industrial Regional Center of Advanced Training and Professional Retrainingš— Irina Podosenova (informed about retraining programs applied in OSU), head of International Programs and Projects Departmentš— Oleg Krikotov (about academic mobility) made the reports.
The speech of University stuff was lively discussed. The attendees were interested in details of academic exchange between OSU and universities of Germany, Japan, Denmark and Kazakhstan as well as receiving two diplomas at the same timeš— Russian and European one.
