OSU Rector Vladimir Kovalevskiy took part in solemn events devoted to the 260th anniversary of Moscow State University named after M.V.šLomonosov. The solemn session in honor of the anniversary with participation of eminent Russian and foreign politicians, scientists and culture persons took place in assembly hall of the university’s main building.

Vladimir Putinš— President of Russian Federation started solemn evening with congratulatory speech.

Academician Viktor Sadovnichiyš— MSU Rector congratulated audience with University’s anniversary and Tatiana’s Day. University video-presentation, ballroom dancing, pop songs and poems reading created really festive atmosphere. The distribution of Lomonosov and Shuvalov awards for scientific achievements also took place during the festive event.

The academic exchange between our universities passes systematically in terms of the cooperation contractš— Moscow students visit Orenburg for practical training; professors read lectures for Orenburg citizens and vice versa. Such cooperation with the main university of the country is really valuable for our scientific and educational life.
