The main idea of the meetingš— is exchange of scientific and practical experience. During excursion directors of botanical gardens and tree nurseries planted a "friendship tree"š— lilac in memory of the meeting and as a symbol of cooperation. Besides session’s participants visited Ilmensky nature reserve, Turgoyak Lake, Vera Island and "Zyuratkul" national park. Heads of botanical gardens shared rare plants with each other. From the trip Valeriy Novikov brought some sorts of mountain ash, spirea and apple-trees which already have been planted in Orenburg State University garden.

Within session heads of botanical gardens and tree nurseries discussed questions of development and functioning. Valeriy presented his report and told that construction of alpine garden in OSU Botanical Garden is continuing: the garden would be decorated by picturesque Alpine hills located near a reservoir with cascade stream and decorative bridge. New specialistš— fish breeder is engaged in reservoirs improvement and supervision over new pond inhabitantsš— carps and silver carps.

Very soon employees of botanical garden would create coniferetum (collection field of coniferous plants) and replace ornamental bushes from nursery to fruticetum (collection field of ornamental brushes).
