A plenary meeting of international scientific conference dedicated to the 60th anniversary of our university took place on the 15th of September in OSU. Festive presentation of a post card with image of OSU Research Library was realized during this event.

Vladimir Kovalevskiy, OSU Rector, addressed to participants with words of welcome. He congratulated all persons connected with longstanding university’s history and thanked all the names who create this history today. Elena Lutsay, Head of Department for Science and University Coordination congratulated OSU on its anniversary on behalf of Ministry of Education in Orenburg region.

The plenary meeting was continued by report of Sergey Letuta, Vice-Rector for Research. He told about the 60-years history of the universityš— from evening’ department of Kuybyshev Industrial Institute named after V.V.šKuybyshev to the academic leader in Orenburg region.
