Russia and France: Partnership in Aircraft Engineering

Aleksandr Gorbunov, Senior Lecturer of Aircrafts Department, OSU Aerospace Institute took part in the 1^st French-Russian Forum.

The 1^st French-Russian Forum in the field of aerospace education and science was held on the base of Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) by support of Ministry for Education and Science of Russian Federation and Ministry for Higher Education and Science in France. This meeting connected representatives of the best universities from two countries, largest research centers and enterprises of this branch, as well as scientists and researchers for discussing of possible partnership.

Aleksandr Gorbunov presented research project "Designing and constructing of additional aerodynamic wings’ surfaces for long-distance aircrafts" and conducted a range of bilateral meetings. Possible ways of cooperation in the sphere of practical application of research’ results, joint R&D and experimental works with French colleagues from such companies as TE-OX, ISAE-SUPAERO, and ENAC were discussed during these sessions.
