OSU Will Support Projects of Japanese Publishing House
The reporters of Japanese magazine "Hokkaido Shimbun" have visited Orenburg State University on the 3rd of June.
OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova, Head of OSU Japanese Information Center Lyudmila Dokashenko and Head of Directorate for International Cooperation Eduard Yasakov welcomed Watanabe Rio and Igor Rzhanov. The rector reminded guests about long-term relationship with the publishing house and shared impressions about her trip to the Land of the Rising Sun in April.
Lyudmila Dokashenko told the guests that two lecturers from Hokkaido had worked in OSU in the framework of the program developed by Japanese-Russian Center for Youth Exchange. Only 20 Russian universities take part in this project.
Zhanna Ermakova assured the guests that our university is ready to support any projects that will be planned by the publishing house in Orenburg in terms of cooperation with regional authorities drawing on scientific and students’ representatives of the university. She offered to carry out the next joint project during the upcoming festival "Days of Japan in OSU".
