OSU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Svetlana Pankova, opening the lecture, noted the uniqueness of the opportunity to meet with Sergey Gorkov — the head of the state corporation, which is entrusted with investing from National Wealth Fund. The Governor Yury Berg presented the guest.

Sergey Gorkov said that the lecture appeared after development and analysis of Vnesheconombank's strategy — he presented it to the management and employees of industrial companies, including Rostec enterprises. In the version for Orenburg, the special trends identified just a week ago are considered. So far only students of Higher School of Economics have listened to this unique speech.

The conversation between the Chairman of Vnesheconombank and OSU representatives lasted more then two hours. It was broadcasted online.

In an interesting way Sergey Gorkov told which challenges the economy of our country will face, what type of leader will be in demand in the near future, and also where Russia can become a global leader.

After the lecture, the students and teachers took cell-phones and passed a check-up test. The five leaders who answered correctly and faster then others, constantly changed. As a result, two lecturers and one student won. Sergey Gorkov presented them with innovative literature, where as he said, “information on three hundred pages is concentrated on twelve leaves.” He noted that the President and the Prime Minister of Russia also received such a present.
