01.06.17
OSU scientists under the guidance of Yulia Nikulina, associate professor of the Personnel Management, Service and Tourism Department, have received a grant from the Orenburg Region Government and the Russian Foundation for Humanities to develop new methods for the growth of industrial tourism in the Orenburg region.
The analyses of the available scientific literature and the real status of the industry in Russia and the Orenburg region demonstrated that the subject needs more detailed research. The group of scientists argue this need. They believe that industrial tourism will introduce tourists to the minerals when visiting mines, as well as to industrial sights (industrial architecture and factory shops interior). On the excursions to enterprises tourists will learn more about the history of the region's industry and the process of creating metallurgical, food and other products.
