OSU scientists took the lead in the Classic of Education contest funded by Urait Electronic Publishing House.
This spring Urait Publishing House held the Classic of Education contest for the second time. More than 350 authors from all Russian federal districts, as well as from France, the USA and Poland took part in the event. OSU scientists Lyudmila Tretyak, associate professor of the Metrology, Standardization and Certification Department and Andrey Vorobyov, head of the same Department presented their textbook “Fundamentals of Experimental Data Processing: Theory and Practice” and became winners in the nomination “Engineering and Applied Science: UraitSkills”.
Orenburg State University as the winners’s employer received 50,000 rubles grant to subscribe to any publications of the Urait Publishing House Electronic Library.
Urait Publishing House will print and e-publish the textbook soon and publisize it throughout all Russian higher and secondary professional educational institutions libraries and teaching staff of the relevant departments. The book will appear in the top book store windows and e-shops. The information on the book will be included in the National Bibliographic Database of Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
