OSU students make study tours of European museums

OSU studnets from the faculty of Architecture and Construction returned back from a study tour of the European museums.

For 10 days future designers have admired the works of art of different styles, genres and schools. They visited six capital cities of Europe — Warsaw, Berlin, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Paris and Prague. It was obligitory for the studenrs to study the collections of at least two European museums. Most students decided on the Louvre in France and the Alfons Mucha Museum in Prague.

In Berlin the tourists visited the Kaiser Wilhelm I Memorial Church and Museum Island, an ensamble of five state museums having UNESCO World Heritage status. Art Nouveau expositions, street graffiti and sculptures made a lasting impression on the students. Amsterdam surprised with its cosy side streets, multicolored houses, elegant bridges and ship canals.
