Colleagues in classrooms, adversaries on the sports ground

The opening ceremony of the annual Spartakiad of OSU teachers and employees "Cheerfulness and health" was held on January, 10 in sports hall of the OSU academic building # 3.

The teams from the Scientific Library, the Center for Information Technologies, 13 faculties, 2 institutes, the Department of Physical Education and all OSU branches and colleges took part in the event.

All participants competed in 7 sports for two weeks: table tennis, volleyball, cross country skiing, chess, mini-football, swimming and darts. GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense training program) pentathlon for the OSU Department of Physical Education was a revamp at the Spartakiad "Cheerfulness and health — 2018". Its participants demonstrated their skills in five types of exercises: finger-tip push-up, falling leaf, standing-forward bend on the gymnastic bench, free style swimming and long jump.
