To go to Germany to get knowledge and impressions

Students from the OSU Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies returned home from the study trip to Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (Germany).

The trip was funded by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). 15 OSU students, most of them major in Computer Security, attended lectures of German professors on modern telecommunications and prospects of cooperation in this area and on personal data protection. Two lectures introduced the students to the cryptographical methods for information protection.

With DAAD financial support our universities develop academic exchange not only for students but for educators as well. Dr. Klaus Haenssgen from Leipzig University of Applied Sciences is a frequent visiting lecturer at OSU. Irina Bolodurina, head of OSU department of Applied Mathematics worked for six months in the partner-university.
