A friendship between universities is a friendship between regions and countries

Within the framework of the Days of the Orenburg region in Aktobe, on May 19, K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University (ARSU) held the International Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of the Aktyubinsk and Orenburg regions.

The event got together the leaders of top five Orenburg and four Aktobe universities. Yuri Berg, Governor of the Orenburg region, Berdybek Saparbayev, Akim of the Aktyubinsk region, Ilyas Spaniov, Akim of the city of Aktobe, Aktyubinsk Akimat and Orenburg region government representatives attended the forum.

Zhanna Ermakova, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of the Orenburg region, OSU Rector, made a report at the forum. She says that more than 2,000 students from Kazakhstan study in the regional universities, more than half of them are OSU students.
