Vladimir Gutenyov: OSU should be not just a basic but an innovative university

Vladimir Gutenyov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship, First Vice President of the Russian Union of Machine Builders, President of the League of Assistance to Defense Enterprises, visited Orenburg State University during his stay in Orenburg.

The visit started with the meeting of Vladimir Gutenyov with the university administration. Svetlana Pankova, Vice Rector, introduced the guest into the history and structure of the university. Vladimir Gutenyov, in his turn, pointed out that such a powerful regional university as OSU should not be just basic, but innovative one. After being presented with OSU souvenirs, the guest met with the faculty and students from OSU Aerospace Institute. The deputy’s visit continued with a tour to the Aerospace Institute laboratories.
