Yuri Berg congratulated 150.000th OSU graduate

Today the top-officials of the university, the city and the region are extending their congratulations to the best OSU graduates.

The ceremony is a special one as the university diploma is awarded to the 150.000^th OSU graduate.

Yuri Berg, Governor of the Orenburg region invited the graduate to the stage. Maria Popello is the graduate of the master’s programme in Informatics and Computing. She was granted an honor of being the jubilee graduate because of her academic records, research skills and active participation in the university’s and region’s social and public events. But she is not alone on the stage! Egor Popello, her husband is also invited to the stage to get the diploma with honors for his academic records. He is the graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction. The audience greets with cheers their 2-years old son, Nickolay. So after the five years of studies the couple has got profound knowledge and a family.

The ceremony continued with granting diplomas to other honors students and greetings from the deans of the faculties. The performances from the Students’ culture center “Russia” brightened the event.
