Round dance “Unity” as a symbol of people’s friendship

Students and professors from Orenburg State University participated actively in the Unity Day celebrations.

The festivities started with a big meeting that collected more than 3 500 people. About 200 of them were OSU members — Zhanna Ermakova, OSU Rector, Prorectors, Deans and Directors, Heads of Departments. The meeting grew into a bright and large fleshmob: more than 700 people dance in a ring, holding a strap in the RF Flag form. The cloth was 150 m. length.

Then Orenburgers and the city guests could enjoy the grand concert of the best Orenburg vocal and dance groups. A rousing dance from Zhemchuzhinka, an Hounoured Group from OSU Student’s Center “Russia”, excited the audience.
