Intellectuals from the Volga Federal District study at Orenburg universities

Orenburg region’s team made the top three in the students’ Olympiad for intellectuals “IQ Volga Federal District” held in Mordovia.

Orenburgers got the third prize yielding the palm to the hosts. Samara team took the second place.

Orenburg team demonstrated its best results in “Managers’ battles” and “Robotechnics” nominations. Pavel Krasnov and Ruslan Kanchurin from the Aerospace Institute became the prizewinners in the latter. They demonstrated their skills in deciding real-life tasks on technological processes automation.

Irina Gribovich and Alexander Dmitrenko from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies were the best in “Programming” nomination. All members of the Orenburg team together with Dmitry Kurtov (the Faculty of Economics and Finances) and Alexander Semenikhin (the Faculty of Philology) excelled in “What? Where? When?” quiz.
