Students and postgraduates study oil and gas deposits

Students and postgraduate students from the OSU Faculty of Geology and Geography got winner’s certificates in the regional scientific and technological conference organized by “Orenburgnepht” company.

108 young professionals, students and postgraduates from leading universities of the oil-producing regions attended the event. Students from the Faculty of Geology and Geography and postgraduates from the Department of Geology, Geodesy and Cadastre represented Orenburg State University.

They have been carrying out their research for many years in certain deposit fields. Igor Kolesnik defined geological and stratigraphic characteristics of Orenburg gas-condensate field’s cut of a concrete age (at the boundary between Upper Carbonic and Rothliegende). Fanzilya Hannanova hydrocarbon potentials of the Ananevskoye field. Specialists from “Rosneft” displayed interest to the findings she collected.

Postgraduates Vasily Panteleev and Alexandra Kolomoetz presented hydrocarbon potentials for the eastern territories of the Orenburg region.
