Awarding young researchers

Orenburg State University awarded the winners of the XVII Contest of Researches of Young Students from the Orenburg region.

This year 580 people from 97 educational institutions presented their 547 researches in 37 sections. 165 people became winners and laureates. Students from high schools, lyceums and gymnasiums presented the projects on Economics, Russian language and Literature, History, Sociology and Social studies, Medicine and Healthy Lifestyle.

Zhanna Ermakova, OSU rector congratulated the winners. She stressed that the university paid special attention to this Contest as all its participants having an inclination for research and science could become part of the university’s student body in the future. A nice bonus for winners who finish high schools this year will be extra 5 scores to the Unified State Exams grades if they apply for any of the OSU faculties. They also got certificates for individual consultation with OSU educators in 2019–2020 academic year.
