OSU student taught the language of Pushkin and Tolstoy in Germany

A Master degree student from the OSU Faculty of Philology returned back from the study tour to Germany. It was a scholarship program for academic exchange of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Michael Salnikov was a teaching assistant in Russian as a foreign language at the high school in Eisenberg. An 8-months program required 12 hours of teaching per week. He assisted to teach Russian language to German high school students: he explained the vocabulary usage and grammar, and also gave talks about Russia — its traditions, holidays, literature and music. Besides teaching, Michael went on tours and participated in social activities organized by his German colleagues.
