Three golden medals, two silver and a bronze one. Maria Kameneva has set three records

Maria Kameneva, OSU student, has demonstrated hich scores at the 2019 European Swimming Championship that took place at Glasgow, Scotland on December 4–8.

She won a golden medal at 50šm freestyle swimming, showing the best result in the country's historyš— 23,55šseconds. Maria has won two more golden medals as a part of the team. Russian foursome won the first place at 4šxš50šm relay medley, setting a world record of 1šminute and 36,22šsec, the other golden medal was for 4šxš50šm freeslyle, and the result beated the previous record of Europe.

The student of OSU Faculty of Applied Biotechnology and Engineering has also won two silver medals at 100m backstroke and individual medley, beating the previous record of Russia by 0,5šsec.

Maria Kameneva earned bronze at the women's team at relay race 4šxš50šm.

The Russian National team has earned thirteen golden, five silver and four bronze medals, which became the best result of total all-medal table of the Championship and the best accomplishment of Russia in the history of European champioships.
