Kazakhstan PhD candidates and postgraduate students at OSU

PhD candidates from Kazakhstan has finished their study tour to Orenburg State University.

They came from Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University to complete a two-week development programme “General pedagogy, the history of pedadogy and education”. During their first days at the university the guests had a meeting with Svetlana Pankova, Prorector for Economics and Strategic Development. She pointed out that OSU had the most intensive cooperation with Kazakhstan and partner-universities in Astana, Uralsk and Aktobe.

The two-week internship for candidates has started from the excursion around the university. Then the guests got aquainted with the resources of the OSU scientific library: they worked at the reading-room of Humanities and Social Studies literature and the hall of electronic resources with the access to digital dissertation collection of the Russian State Library.

PhD candidates have also visited lectures and tutorials at the Department of General and Vocational Pedagogics.

At the end of the internship they were qualified with the continuing education certificates.
