Pushkin unites cities and countries

OSU Russian Philology and Methods of Russian Language Teaching Department together with the Orenburg region Ministry of Education, has organized “I read Pushkin in admiration” flash mob.

Students of the Russian Language Department of Foreign Language Faculty of OrSMU joined the event. During the flash mob everyone could read poems of the famous poet in Russian, English, German, French, and other languages. The flash mob “Reading Pushkin” has gained a lot of popularity in social media. The contest united OSU students, medical students from India (OrSMU), students and teachers from Buguruslan Oil Industry College, Mednogorsk Industrial College, Orsk Oil Industry Technical School, Financial-Accounting Technical School, Gymnasium 12, high school № 71, Gubernatorial Multidisciplinary Boarding Lyceum for Gifted Children of the Orenburg region, high school № 1 in Mednogorsk, Lyceum 15 in Saratov, Nazarbaev Intellectual Physical and Mathematical School in Aktobe (Republic of Kazakhstan), K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University (Republic of Kazakhstan), Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Germany), and Osh State University (Kyrgyz Republic).

The organizers want the flash mob to become a tradition.
