OSU students test their knowledge in ethnography

«Great Ethnographic Dictation» is being held all over the country. OSU students and staff are participating in the large-scale project for the fifth time.

The educational campaign has become a traditional at our university. Great Ethnographic Dictation informs the participants to the culture of the peoples living in Russia, and also allows them to estimate their ethnographic literacy level.

More than 200 participants from OSU took part in the international project. Most of them wrote the dictation at home — this year online participation was a priority. Some students used the university’s premises to write the dictation. First-year students of the OSU History Department from the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Innovations and Mass Media were lucky to test their knowledge in Ethnography and also to attend the concert of «Shining Moon» ensemble.
