On January 29, consultants and the leader of the OSU Law Clinic belonging to the OSU Faculty of Law took part in a seminar, organized by the University of Bristol’s Law Clinic (Great Britain).
The seminar was moderated by Paula Giliker, Professor of Comparative Law (the University of Bristol), and Diane Sechi, Senior Associate in the Pro-Bono activities (Simmons & Simmons). Students from the UK, Israel, India and Spain Law Clinics attended the seminar. They addressed a number of actual issues like access to justice, training in Law Clinics, care for the clients, professional ethics, regulations and financing for Law Clinics.
The event aimed to form the international community of students from Law Clinics throughout the world to exchange with knowledge and ideas about justice.
Elena Ruzaeva, leader of the OSU Law Clinic believes that this experience provides chances to discuss interesting and relevant topics, socialize with colleagues from other countries and just spend your time in an interesting and informative way.
