Maria Kameneva shared the joy about her victories

The museum of OSU history has opened the exhibition about the university’s staff and students achievements in swimming. Maria Kameneva. A second year student, who won 6 golden medals during the last Championship of Russia, has granted two of her trophies to the museum.

The exhibition tells about couches and three famous athletes who all attended the opening ceremony. Andrei Ponomarenko, a graduate of the OSU Faculty of Transport, was the first who got the Master of Sports title at the university. It was in 2001 when he was a first year student. Andrei Andronov, senior lecturer from the OSU Department of Physical Training, a multiple winner of All-Russia and International Championships told about his achievements in Masters Swimming. The key guest of the event was Maria Kameneva, an active athlete who studies at the OSU Faculty of Applied Biotechnology and Engineering. She presented to the museum her silver medal from Taipei Universiade 2017. She was the first of OSU students who became a prize winner in such international tournaments. She also donated to the museum her golden medal from the recent Swimming Championship of Russia.
